Tawny Owl (Srtix aluco)

The tawny owl is a medium sized Eurasian owl, the same genus as the American barred owl, but much smaller (about 400g). They come in 3 color morphs: tawny, grey, brown (a combination of tawny and grey), and everything in between. The most common is the tawny color (of course), the least common is the grey.
