Ornate Hawk Eagle (Spizaetus ornatus)

The ornate hawk eagle is a long-legged eagle from Mexico/Central America. They lay one egg every other year, and the young will stay with the adults for a period of 2 years. They are fast and strong, but can be difficult to train due to the long immature period they experience.
