Bat Falcon (Falco rufigularis)

The bat falcon is a small kestrel-like falcon from Central and South America. It weighs around 100-150g for males, and 170-240g for females; larger than a kestrel, smaller than a merlin. Flying weights are 90g for a male, and 140g for a female. They are very agile, and are among the most aerial of falcons.
